The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I painted this piece with a huge city park in mind, mainly Central Park in New York City, it is a beautiful sunny day in the city and everyone is enjoying the sunshine in the city park, walking their dogs, painting on an easel, sailing boats in the pond, or just sitting on a bench watching people pass by, happy and carefree enjoying the sunshine. Could be a park any where from Paris to London to New York city, hope you enjoy.
